Frequently Asked Questions
01
Why tax resolution?
A career in tax resolution can help you escape the stress of a busy tax season and make more revenue but with fewer clients. Plus there are over 15 million taxpayers in collections with the IRS. So there’s more than enough opportunity available for you to have steady revenue all year long.
02
Will clients want to work with me since I’m not part of a big franchise firm?
I’ve found that all of the clients that came to me were discouraged by the big firms that advertise on radio. They find them to be impersonal and feel as if they are strung along, so they prefer to work with smaller, boutique firms like me and you.
03
How much can I earn?
Enrolled agents, tax attorneys, and CPAs are charging a minimum of $5k per offer in
compromise. Additionally, if tax returns must be completed and filed you charge your usual fees for those as well. So let’s say you have a client who qualifies for OIC and needs 3 returns filed (avg prep fee $400). You earn $6200 from just one OIC case.
04
How long is your course?
The Back Tax Bootcamp Offer in Compromise for Individuals course is about 2.5 hours long. It is divided into easy-to-understand modules so you do not get overwhelmed.
05
I want to enroll but I can’t afford the fee right now.
This course is designed to provide you a high rate of return on your investment. An investment of a few hours of your time and only $999 can help you earn $5000 with just ONE client. Sometimes sacrifices must be made so you have enough money to invest in and elevate yourself.
06
I heard IRS employees are mean and intimidating.
When I first started I was intimidated with the idea of working with Revenue Officers. But after my first case I learned they are just people who want to do their job. Treat them with respect, as you would want to be treated. And you will be fine. Don’t let fear get in your way.
07
What happens once I submit my first OIC case?
In the course, we cover the next steps and what to expect. Additionally, if you get stuck, you have the opportunity to speak to me and get guidance throughout your case.
